For Canine & Feline Natural Health & Nutrition
As a certified Small Animal Health Consultant and Homeopathic & Herbal practitioner it is my goal to empower you with vital information to improve and prolong the life of your cat and dog. Whether your dog or cat is healthy and you wish to keep it that way, or whether your pet is dealing with health issues. In my consultations I will teach you how to maintain or help achieve optimal health in a natural way through prevention, proper nutrition of a species appropriate diet, and with natural and safe alternative health care.
Poor nutrition, along with the use of vaccines, allopathic medications, and chemical products, are the reasons for many of the health problems we are now seeing in our dogs and cats: diabetes, renal failure, allergies, skin problems, cancer, obesity, etc. There are natural alternatives to what conventional medicine has to offer. I’m strictly holistic in my approach to animal health, and rather than just address symptoms, together, you and I, will look to remove the cause of the problem in order to help your dog or cat regain optimum health.

Homeopathy:
Distance is no obstacle for me to work homeopathically with you. The only prerequisite to become a long distance client is for you to know your animal very well and be able to verbally convey symptom information.
Not only will Homeopathic remedies address your pet’s present health issues, but the consultation will also include Sequential Homeopathy to remove past traumas and Miasms to address hereditary issues.
Homeopathic remedies will be in 1 oz. dropper-bottles and will be sent in a dry-form to prevent leakage in the mail. When you receive the remedies you’ll need to add the liquid: 15% vodka or organic vinegar (1/4-teaspoon is enough); and 85% distilled/purified water. However, some clients like for me to prepare the liquid remedies for them. Sequential remedies will be in powder form, or a wafer, and will be in small white envelopes. All of these remedies together will address acute and chronic states and provide constitutional, emotional, and organ support.

The initial homeopathic consultation usually runs between 60 and 90 minutes. The first consultation with a homeopath are longer than a normal visit to a veterinarian. Read this article to help understand the homeopathic process: Click on Your First Homeopathic Appointment. Follow-up consultations are approximately 40 minutes. These follow-ups are important for re-assessments.
What can you expect during a consultation? You will be given three forms to fill out: Health Assessment Form, Authorization Form, and a Timeline Form. First, you will receive an individual personalized analysis of your pet’s health. After I receive your Health Assessment Form I will evaluate the given information. Since illness is due to improper diet, habits, exposure to toxins and general lifestyle, I will assess risk factors and susceptibility to disease and make appropriate recommendations to prevent health challenges, or to prevent existing health challenges from developing into more serious or chronic states. I will discuss nutrition with you. Plus, I will also need you to fill out a Timeline Form which will list in chronological order all traumas/life events in your pet’s life. All three forms must be signed and sent back to me prior to the consultation.
NOTE: Most consultations can be done over the phone or Skype. If you live in New York City you may visit my office by special appointment only. I don’t diagnose, do lab work, or physical exams. All I need to know is a detailed description of your pet’s symptoms, lifestyle, health history, and diet. A photo of your pet is also helpful.
Consultation Fees:
1. The Initial Consultation is $85 for approximately 60 to 90 minutes. Follow-ups are 40 Minutes at $40. After I receive the signed forms I will email you a PayPal invoice based on whether you want an Initial Consultation, or a 40-minute Follow-up, or a Package Deal. All consultations and follow-ups must be paid in full prior to the day of our appointment. NOTE: Homeopathic remedies and S&H charges (USPS Priority Mail) are an additional charge. I do offer discounted Package Deals (see below).
2. For Nutritional Consultations only the fee is $65 per 45 minutes.
3. Pet owners who have two (2) pets that are experiencing health issues and wish for me to address both animals at the same time (rather than separately), please email to enquire on consultation fee.
I am always available to clients via email and will usually respond within 24 hours or less. I don’t charge for fairly minor follow-up email questions. But if it’s a very involved question and I must do time-consuming research or an otherwise entire re-assessment then the Follow-up Fee ($40) will apply. This also applies if new issues arise. Follow-ups after the initial consultation are totally dependent upon the circumstances. Obviously, more involved cases will require much more time.
P.S. To save money for on-going consults, I do offer a 12-month, 6-month, or 3-month Package Deal at a considerable discount:
3-Month Package: $140 ~ An initial Consultation + 2 Follow ups. A savings of $22 or more.
6-Month Package: $230 ~ An initial Consultation + 5 Follow-ups. A savings of $42 or more.
12-Month Package: $410 ~ An initial Consultation + 11 Follow-ups. A savings of $112 or more.
My consultation hours are 1 PM to 8:00 PM, est. Monday through Saturday.
Additional costs: For any product that I may suggest (supplements, etc.) this will be your responsibility to obtain. If you have trouble finding what I suggest, I can give you sources. I do carry some products (such as, herbal tonics, probiotics, CBD hemp oil, etc.) in order to make it easier for you to find them. Also, herbal products should only be purchased from a reliable GMP source to ensure high quality and authenticity. Therefore, please do not use herbs from your local health food store or supermarket. Also, Homeopathic remedies and S&H charges (USPS Priority Mail) are an additional charge. The cost of homeopathic remedies: Three to four 1-oz dropper bottles + sequential remedies = $30 to $40 (depending on quantity). Herbal Formula 2-oz bottle = $25. Homeopathic de-tox 1-oz bottle = $18. Chinese Herbal Formulas can vary from $20 (1-oz) to $30 (120 tabs) or more depending on the quantity (e.g. 4-oz or 300 tabs).
